Q1: What are the main benefits of using an 8-roller belt drive over traditional metal rollers?
A: Traditional steel rollers concentrate high pressure on narrow contact points, which can leave deep ridges or pinch marks on soft PVC, Teflon, or silicone wire jackets. The 8-roller belt system spreads traction over a much broader surface area, ensuring smooth wire feeding for thick cables up to 35 mm² without leaving surface scratches.
Q2: Can the EW-05A+P perform longitudinal slitting on multi-core cables?
A: Yes. The EW-05A+P can be equipped with an optional longitudinal slitting device. This allows the machine to slice open the outer sheath of multi-core cables during the stripping cycle, making it much easier for operators to peel back long outer jackets.
