A: The EW-1130 incorporates a thermal hot-melt cutting mechanism. As the cutting element slices through heat-sealable nylon or woven mesh sleeving, the applied heat instantly melts and fuses the individual fiber strands together, producing a neat, sealed edge that will not unravel during harness assembly or installation.
Q2: What guide pipe diameters and cutting lengths can the machine handle?
A: The standard EW-1130 handles guide pipe outer diameters from 6 mm to 25 mm and cutting lengths from 100 mm up to 3,500 mm with ±3 mm accuracy. Custom guide pipe sizes and extended cutting length options can be intelligent-customized upon request.
Q3: Is the sleeve threading process fully automatic or operator-assisted?
A: The machine uses an operator-assisted threading system using interchangeable guide pipes. After the PLC system cuts and thermally seals the sleeve to length, the operator feeds the wire bundle through the guide pipe.
