The EW-05F cuts and strips multi-conductor sheathed cables from 1mm² to 30mm² cross-section, handling up to 11 individual core wires in a single pass — covering the full range of PVC-jacketed control cables, instrumentation cables, and multi-strand power cables used in industrial and building automation applications.
16-wheel belt drive — consistent feed force across the full jacket diameter range
The EW-05F's 16-roller belt feeding system distributes clamping and feed force evenly across 16 contact points along the cable, preventing the jacket surface marking and internal conductor displacement that occur when stiff multi-core cables are fed through conventional 2–4 roller machines. This distributed grip architecture delivers precise 0.1mm length increment control without deforming the cable cross-section.
Hybrid servo motor + servo tool holder — 0.1mm cut length precision, zero insulation scratch
Powered by a hybrid servo motor with servo-controlled blade positioning, the EW-05F achieves feed length accuracy of <0.002×L mm and stripping depth precision sufficient to cleanly remove the outer jacket without marking or nicking core wire insulation. Left and right roller gap and pressure are set digitally on the 7-inch PLC touch screen — no manual dial adjustment required.
Uni-V jacket blades + Uni-flat core wire blades — two dedicated blade geometries
The Uni-V jacket stripping blade profiles are optimised for round PVC and rubber-sheathed multi-core cables across the full 0–16mm guide tube diameter range, with optional radius blade variants for non-circular or special-material jackets. Uni-flat core wire blades strip up to 11 individual core wires simultaneously, with optional teeth blade variants for rubber-insulated conductors where flat blades produce incomplete cuts.
Stripping length flexibility — full strip and half strip (window strip) both ends
Side I: jacket full strip 1–150mm / half strip 1–1000mm; core wire full strip 1–30mm / half strip 1–100mm. Side II: jacket full strip 1–120mm / half strip 1–350mm; core wire full strip 1–30mm / half strip 1–60mm. This range covers terminal block assembly (short strip), junction box branch preparation (mid-length), and cable identification window marking (long half strip) in a single machine.
7-inch touch screen, program file recall — zero-adjustment job changeovers
All parameters — cut length, strip lengths, roller gap, roller pressure, and strip sequence — are stored in named program files on the 7-inch PLC touch screen. Operators switch between cable specifications by recalling a saved program with zero mechanical adjustment, enabling multi-product production lines to changeover in seconds rather than minutes.
Industrial control panel & switchgear wiring — The EW-05F is used in industrial control panel manufacturing to cut and strip the multi-conductor PVC control cables (4–12 core, 1–2.5mm² per core) used in DIN rail terminal block wiring, PLC I/O connections, and motor drive cabling, where consistent jacket strip length and clean core wire presentation directly determine wiring speed and quality at the panel assembly stage.
Elevator & escalator control cable preparation — The EW-05F is used in elevator and escalator manufacturing to process the multi-conductor travelling cables and controller interconnect cables used in lift shaft wiring, where the 16-wheel feed system handles the semi-rigid multi-core cable profiles typical of EN 81-20 compliant elevator wiring without jacket surface marking.
Automotive wire harness branch cable processing — The EW-05F is used in automotive wire harness manufacturing to strip the outer jacket of multi-conductor branch cables (door modules, roof wiring, instrument cluster interconnects) before manual or robotic sub-harness assembly, with the Uni-V blade system delivering consistent jacket removal across PVC, TPE, and halogen-free jacket materials.
Building automation & smart building wiring — The EW-05F is used in building automation system (BAS) and HVAC controller wiring to prepare the multi-conductor signal and power cables used in VAV controller connections, fan coil unit wiring, and fire alarm loop cables, with the window strip (half strip) capability enabling mid-cable branch taps without cable rerouting.
