A: The EW-5075-1 (20 KN) is ideal for standard automotive, appliance, and electronic signal wire terminals up to standard cross-sections. The EW-5075-2 (40 KN) provides double the force for heavy-duty power terminals, larger wire gauges, or open-barrel connectors requiring higher deformation force.
Q2: Can the Crimp Force Monitor (CFM) and safety cover be added to the machine?
A: Yes. Both the crimp force monitoring system and protective safety covers are available options. The CFM continuously evaluates the force-displacement curve of each crimp to catch bad crimps, missing strands, or incorrect wire gauges.
