Q: We process very short wires. How short can the EW-22A cut and strip?
A: The standard EW-22A can cut wires down to an incredibly short 8 mm while still executing a clean strip and crimping a terminal on one end. If your production requires twisted wire ends, the EW-22A-1 twisting model can process lengths starting from 20 mm.
Q: Micro-wires are notorious for stretching or slipping during feeding. How do you maintain accuracy?
A: Slipping is the primary cause of inconsistent wire lengths in low-quality machines. The EW-22A series utilizes high-sensitivity, closed-loop stepper motors coupled with specially coated intake rollers. This system grips delicate insulation jackets firmly without crushing them, delivering an extremely tight cutting tolerance of ±(0.2+0.02*L)mm.
Q: What safeguards are in place to prevent terminal and wire waste?
A: The EW-22A is equipped with an electronic sensor network that runs in the background. If the machine runs out of raw wire, detects low operating air pressure, or experiences a terminal feeding jam, it halts the cycle instantly and displays an error message. For ultra-strict quality requirements, an optional Crimp Force Monitor (CFM) can be added to trace and flag micro-defects in real time.
